Course Content
TKT includes three core modules and specialist options that allow candidates to focus on different aspects of teaching knowledge. The core modules cover language and background to learning, lesson planning and use of resources, and managing the teaching and learning process, while specialist modules include CLIL and Young Learners.

Registration Process
Submit Application
Submit your application through ICD's online form. Shortlisted candidates receive an offer letter.
Payment & Enrolment
Pay the course fee and share the payment receipt to confirm enrolment.
Access Portal
Once enrolled, you'll receive your login details by email to begin coursework on ICD's portal.
Each of the four annual intakes (Jan, April, July, October) runs for 3 months.

What is Linguaskill used for?
It's used by universities, employers, and institutions to quickly assess English proficiency for admissions, recruitment, or placement purposes.
Is there a pass or fail grade?
No — Linguaskill measures your actual proficiency level; there's no cutoff score to pass or fail.
What's the minimum age to take Linguaskill?
16 years old.
Can I take just one skill instead of the full test?
Yes — you can register for one, two, three, or all four skills; each is booked and paid for separately.
What's the highest level Linguaskill can measure?
Linguaskill assesses ability from below A1 up to C2, the highest CEFR level.
How long does it take to get results?
Results typically take between 3 and 15 working days, depending on how many candidates are being tested and whether testing is in-center or remote
How long is my result valid?
Cambridge doesn't set an expiry date — validity is determined by the institution or employer requesting your score.
Can I retake the test if I'm not happy with my score?
Yes — you can retake just the individual module you want to improve, rather than the entire test. Your best score on each module is the one shown on your certificate.
Does ICD offer test preparation for Linguaskill?
Yes — both face-to-face classes and an online preparation course are available.
What do I need to bring on test day?
A valid CNIC or Passport.
