Dr Osamah Qureshi has been working in Pakistan's student recruitment and education services sector since 2002. As Director of the Institute of Career Development, he leads ICD's testing services, teaching qualifications, outreach activities, and international education partnerships.

Dr Osamah Qureshi is Director of both the Institute of Career Development (ICD) and Student Counselling Services Pakistan. His work spans student recruitment, English language training and testing, educational fairs, and outreach activities across Pakistan. With over two decades of involvement in education services, he has built a strong presence in both domestic and international education markets.
In 2022, with support from Enterprise Ireland, an Irish Government organisation, Dr Qureshi established the Ireland Education Office and launched a dedicated online application portal for Irish university admissions. He also published an Ireland-exclusive course search engine to support students and agents in navigating Irish institutions.

Leadership at ICD
Under Dr Qureshi's leadership, ICD operates as an authorised test centre for Cambridge English UK, TOEFL iBT/GRE by ETS USA, Pearson Test of English, and OET Exams. ICD currently runs three test centres in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad, testing approximately 200 test takers each month.
ICD is also the only authorised teaching qualification centre in Pakistan for Cambridge English, offering CELTA, DELTA, and TKT programmes. Additional teaching courses include TEFL, CELT-S, How to Teach IELTS, and Train the Trainer.

ICD operates test centres for Cambridge English, ETS, Pearson, and OET across Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

Dr Qureshi holds exclusive recruitment partnerships for various international institutions and acts as country office holder in several markets.

Dr Qureshi has attended various international conferences on education and English language assessment, including ICEF and Cambridge English workshops held in Dubai and Cambridge. He has also presented papers on Pakistan's education market at these forums, working to present a positive and informed image of Pakistan in the international education space.
