The NCC Education Award in Teaching and Training is a professional development course for individuals who are embarking on their teaching journey, or experienced lecturers who are looking to refresh their skills as part of their continuous professional development.The course will provide learners with an introduction to the practice of teaching and support of student learning in higher education. Learners will gain an understanding in how to prepare and deliver face-to-face lessons as well as evaluate learner performance.Moreover, learners will gain insight into teaching online and how this can complement face-to-face teaching.The course has been designed to be self-studied online with the guidance of a reflective journal, which will guide learners throughout.
